The Quabbin Food Connector board was very pleased to be able to meet with Ashley Randle, Commissioner of the Massachusetts Department of Agricultural Resources, in Orange in November. One of the challenges for our non-profit is to keep bringing agriculture and food access into the same conversations, when funding and organizational networks tend to keep them separate. Commissioner Randle is attuned to these challenges and had several really productive suggestions for our future work, which we’re already following up on!
